Privacy notice

This notice covers kofitech.eu. It explains what we collect when you use the contact form, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and how to make us delete it.
Who is responsible
UAB "Kofi Tech", company code 305994397, VAT code LT100020701217, Švitrigailos g. 11K-109, LT-03228 Vilnius, Lithuania. Write to info@kofitech.eu for anything in this notice. We have not appointed a data protection officer, because we are not required to.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address, company name if you enter one, and the message you write.
- Server logs. Our host records the IP address, timestamp, requested page and browser string for every request, as part of running the server.
- One session cookie.
PHPSESSIDholds a security token that stops other websites submitting our contact form on your behalf, and carries the confirmation message after you send. It expires when you close the browser.
We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own server, so loading this page sends nothing to Google or any other third party.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
- To answer you. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering a contract. If your message is not about working together, Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.
- To keep the site working and secure. Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a functioning, non-abused website. This covers the logs, the rate limit on the form and the anti-forgery token.
Providing the data is voluntary. Without a name, an email address and a message we cannot reply, so the form will not submit.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: 24 months from your last message to us, then deleted. If we start working together, your data moves into the client relationship and follows the retention period set in that contract and in Lithuanian accounting law. Server logs are kept for as long as Hostinger retains them under its own policy. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any point, and we will.
Who else sees it
The site and its mailbox run on infrastructure provided by Hostinger, which processes this data only to host the site and deliver our mail. Nobody else receives it. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and we make no automated decisions about you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict what we do with it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive it in a portable format. Email info@kofitech.eu and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate, L. Sapiegos g. 17, LT-10312 Vilnius, vdai.lrv.lt. You can also complain to the supervisory authority where you live.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top. There is no archive of earlier versions, so check the date if it matters to you.
